Job summary

Fairway Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced LTL Lead to oversee daily operations within the LTL department. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach to supporting warehouse and shipping operations.

You will supervise a small team, assign tasks, coordinate with warehouse personnel, and resolve issues using problem-solving skills. Proficiency with WMS and barcode scanners is preferred, and the schedule runs Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse, distribution, shipping, or logistics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and barcode scanners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the LTL department.
• Lead and supervise a team of three LTL clerks.
• Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Resolve shipping and operational issues using strong problem-solving skills.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel and leadership teams.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
• Support process improvements and operational efficiency.
