Socket.dev is seeking a Logistics Coordinator/LTL Specialist to manage LTL shipments, optimize carrier costs, and ensure timely delivery. You will collaborate with carriers, provide excellent customer service, and maintain accurate shipment data.

Qualifications

• Experience in LTL logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation management.
• Strong understanding of LTL pricing, freight classifications, and carrier networks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt customer service for LTL shipments and resolve issues.
• Obtain competitive rates by comparing carrier pricing and service levels.
• Coordinate LTL carriers to optimize service and costs.
• Plan, schedule, and dispatch shipments for on-time delivery.
• Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers.
• Process freight claims and maintain documentation.
• Maintain accurate shipment data in company systems.
• Develop relationships with existing customers to foster repeat business.
• Conduct outbound calls to generate new business.
• Support additional logistics functions as needed.
