Job summary

FreightTAS in Los Angeles is seeking a Domestic Truckload FTL/LTL Coordinator to manage daily operating tasks for new and existing business. You will oversee daily shipments of FTL/LTL and support growth and development of the business.

The role requires coordinating shipments with customers and carriers, quoting modes of transportation, negotiating rates, and maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Domestic Transportation.
• Strong communication and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Quoting several modes of transportation based on the customers' needs.
• Coordinating shipments with customers and booking with carriers.
• Negotiating rates with carriers.
• Tracking shipments and updating customers.
• Learning and understanding trucking markets.
• Developing new carrier relationships.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and building customer relationships.
• Complete accurate profit and loss analysis for each shipment.
