Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a field-based specialist with deep LTC understanding to position solutions for long-term care facilities and drive strategic relationships with decision-makers in the LTC ecosystem.

The role requires strong regulatory acumen, experience in pharmaceutical sales, and the ability to articulate on-label information, access strategies, and patient care guidance. Expect engagement through virtual and in-person channels to support access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
• Experience in LTC or healthcare provider sales is advantageous.
• Ability to navigate regulatory standards and product labeling requirements.
• Willingness to travel within commutable distance and engage multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Understand LTC regulatory requirements and resident needs to position solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with administrators, directors of nursing, and pharmacy managers.
• Develop tailored sales strategies aligned with LTC facilities' priorities and compliance objectives.
• Communicate on-label product information clearly to healthcare providers.
• Address payor coverage, formulary placement, co-pays, and prior authorization considerations.
• Engage customers via virtual tools and digital channels to foster trust and collaboration.
