Job summary

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience; LTC experience preferred.
• Proficiency with QS1, Docutrack and PCC.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders entered by data entry technicians for multiple care facilities.
• Check packaged medications, including blister-packed, sterile, and non-sterile forms.
• Respond to clinical inquiries from nursing facility staff, hospice nurses, and physicians.
• Count and document controlled substances within the perpetual inventory system.
• Inspect emergency medication boxes to ensure readiness and compliance.
