Job summary

CVS Health Corporation, Omnicare unit, seeks a licensed Pharmacist for our Long Term Care Pharmacy. The role ensures safe dispensing, accurate labeling, and adherence to DEA/state laws while supporting a high-volume LTC environment.

You will provide evening/weekend coverage, maintain inventories, and supervise sterile IV products if needed. Requires PA license, LTC experience, and immunization/IV certification willingness.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania, in good standing.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
• IV Certification or experience preferred.
• Immunization certification or willingness to become certified.
• Education: B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check completeness and accuracy of all labels and orders.
• Check drug packaging and labeling for content and accuracy.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products if required.
• Assist in maintaining perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.
• Knowledge of DEA/state laws for controlled dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
