Job summary

CVS Health's Omnicare division seeks a licensed pharmacist for its Long Term Care Pharmacy team in South Carolina. The role provides ongoing medication management, dispensing services, and adherence to federal/state regulations in a fast-paced setting for skilled nursing facilities and other care sites.

The position requires a SC license in good standing, a Doctorate or B.S. in Pharmacy, and LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in South Carolina in good standing.
• Pharmacy degree (B.S. or PharmD) required.
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy.
• Check for completeness and precision of new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of drug packaging and labeling.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV drug products if required.
