Job summary

Bridges Health in Muskogee, OK is seeking an RN MDS Consultant for a full-time, travel-friendly role. You will provide auditing, education, and compliance support to long-term care facilities to ensure accurate MDS data and compliant reimbursement practices.

The position requires an Oklahoma RN license, MDS/RAP knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel to facilities will be required as part of the job. Bridges Health is an Equal Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma RN license (unencumbered).
• Knowledge of MDS and RAPs; ability to draft care plans tailored to resident status.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Travel to facilities; overnight stays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide auditing, education, and compliance support to facilities to meet regulations and standards.
• Serve as interim Case Manager as needed.
• Collect data for MDS, including quarterly MDS timelines per RAI manual and HCFA guidelines.
• Maintain accurate MDS/Care Plan tracking for timely completion.
• Ensure MDS reflects resident’s current medical condition through proper documentation.
• Coordinate decisions about care plan progression and document on MDS as required.
• Record and transmit MDS data electronically per state and federal regulations.
