Job summary

RPh on the Go in Wilkes-Barre, PA seeks a Pharmacy Technician for a 26-week contract in a LTC and Mail Order setting. You will fill prescriptions, prep IVs under a pharmacist, and support data entry and delivery coordination.

This temp-to-direct role runs Monday–Friday 11:00 am–7:30 pm with alternating weekend shifts, offering growth in a specialized pharmacy environment and potential direct-hire conversion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Familiarity with Long Term Care and Mail Order pharmacy operations is an advantage.
• Current Pennsylvania pharmacy technician license is required.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Enter prescription data with Billing Supervisor for proper reimbursement.
• Assist in prepackaging medications following regulatory standards and pharmacist review.
• Support pharmacist in verifying filled prescriptions and coordinating packaging/delivery.
• Maintain inventory through receiving, rotation, and counts to ensure accuracy.
• Keep a clean, safe work environment and check equipment calibration and safety.
