RPh on the Go in Greensburg, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support long-term care and mail order operations on a 2nd shift. You will work under a Registered Pharmacist to accurately fill prescriptions, assist with IV medications, and ensure compliance in a regulated setting.

This 26-week contract offers a potential path to direct hire. Applicants should hold a PA pharmacy technician license and have LTC or mail order experience; sterile compounding experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• PA license required or eligible for registration
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) or mail order pharmacy is highly desirable
• Familiarity with sterile compounding preferred
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with pharmacy regulations

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Pharmacist by accurately filling prescriptions and preparing IV medications
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data and support reimbursement processes
• Prepackage medications under pharmacist direction, complying with regulatory standards
• Support final prescription checks, including stating medication and packaging for pharmacist review
• Maintain proper inventory practices, including receiving, rotating stock, and updating lot/expiration info
• Help ensure a clean and safe workspace; assist with equipment calibration and safety checks
