Job summary

RPh on the Go in Medina, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract in a long-term care mail-order setting. The role supports pharmacists with compounding, verification, and packaging under supervision, with a mid-shift schedule Monday to Friday 10 am–6 pm and alternating Saturdays 12 pm–4 pm.

Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license is required; LTC and mail-order experience preferred; IV compounding a plus; strong attention to detail and procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy and mail order settings is highly preferred.
• IV compounding skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill prescriptions, prepare non-sterile compounds, and assist in IV preparation under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Prepackage medications following standards and regulations to ensure compliance and safety.
• Support Pharmacists with the final accuracy check of filled prescriptions, including medication verification and packaging coordination.
• Assist with inventory management by receiving and rotating medications, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and supporting physical inventory counts.
• Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor to maintain a clean, safe, and well-calibrated work environment, including equipment safety checks.
