Job summary

RPh on the Go is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a 13-week contract in Warwick, RI, focusing on long-term care and mail-order environments. You will rotate through first and second shifts, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality dispensing and patient counseling.

The role requires a Rhode Island license and experience in long-term care settings, with opportunities to transition to permanent. Compensation ranges from $55.00 to $63.00 with healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals

Qualifications

• Valid Rhode Island pharmacist license required.
• Experience in long-term care and mail-order environments preferred.
• Strong communication and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately while complying with standards.
• Monitor patient medication adherence and identify overuse patterns.
• Maintain confidential records and pharmacy documentation.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and questions.
• Provide patient services such as smoking cessation, BP, and cholesterol education.
• Educate on device usage (blood pressure, glucose monitors).
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions per protocol.
• Supervise staff to ensure efficient operations and maintain inventory.
