Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Machine Operator (LTC Operator) for the New Bedford, MA facility. This role executes machine setup, operation, inspection, and adjustments during the LTC process on a 3rd shift (12:00AM - 8:00AM) schedule with a $25.31/hr base pay plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Knowledge of production standards and quality requirements is essential for successful operation. Responsibilities include reading Standard Work, ensuring materials are ready, operating equipment, and maintaining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education is preferred but not required.
• Must have basic math skills and the ability to read/work with written instructions in English.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a loud manufacturing environment.
• Strong attendance and reliability are required.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend production Standard Work and Job Function Analysis (JFA).
• Ensure production materials are available for operations.
• Operate and observe machinery during production.
• Identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report potential unsafe conditions.
