Job summary

Atkore International is seeking two 2nd shift LTC machine operators in New Bedford, MA. The role involves operating and setting up machines, inspecting output, completing paperwork, and maintaining a safe work area on a 4:00 PM–Midnight shift, with training provided.

Pay starts at $25.31/hour with a $1.00 shift differential. A high school diploma is preferred; manufacturing experience is a plus. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education and experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend production Standard Work and Job Function Analysis (JFA).
• Ensure production materials are available.
• Operate and observe machinery during production.
• Identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately.
