Job summary

BOS Medical Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support a long-term care facility in Georgia. Shifts are available immediately on a PRN/per-diem basis, including weekends, with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, communicating with the care team, and upholding patient dignity and confidentiality. A Georgia LPN license and at least 1 year of LPN experience are preferred; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Georgia nursing license.
• At least 1 year of experience as an LPN preferred.
• Basic computer skills for charting.
• Ability to work as part of a team and multi-task.
• Must pass a criminal background check including FBI fingerprint history and pre-employment drug screen.

• 7P-7A

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment programs as directed by the Health Care Practitioner.
• Communicates information to nursing staff, physicians, health care unit supervisory personnel, and other staff as necessary.
• Respects the dignity and confidentiality of patients.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and training.
• Applies principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follows standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
• Applies sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and applies knowledge to different factual situations.
