Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a LRAP Administrator in New York to review and evaluate Loan Repayment Assistance Program applications, determine eligibility, and resolve appeals. You will process documents, support audits, and coordinate benefit payments while counseling students on aid and debt management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ years relevant experience in financial aid and/or student services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, policies and procedures in a student financial services setting.
• Familiarity with automated financial aid processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate LRAP applications to determine eligibility.
• Resolve LRAP appeals and requests for special review.
• Process incoming LRAP documents and ensure required paperwork is received.
• Assist with LRAP audits for compliance with financial aid guidance.
• Create benefit check requests and coordinate timely benefit payments.
