Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a LRAP Administrator in New York to review and evaluate Loan Repayment Assistance Program applications, determine eligibility, and resolve appeals. You will process documents, support audits, and coordinate benefit payments while counseling students on aid and debt management.

Qualifications

Job description

• Review and evaluate Loan Repayment Assistance Program applications to assist with eligibility determinations
• Resolve LRAP appeals and requests for special review
• Process incoming application documents and ensure required documentation is received
• Assist with audits of LRAP applications for compliance with financial aid guidance and requirements
• Create benefit check requests and coordinate accurate, timely benefit payment processing
• Counsel and advise current students, prospective enrollees, and graduates on institutional aid, borrowing, loan repayment, debt burden, consolidation, and basic financial management
• Organize and index LRAP application documentation
• Conduct outreach to external agencies when necessary
• Respond to LRAP emails, telephone calls, and walk-ins
• Represent LRAP and the School of Law at recruitment events, panels, and information sessions
• Perform related duties assigned by the LRAP administrator

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
