Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform physical therapy procedures under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist and to assist in patient activities.

The role may supervise technicians, volunteers and students as assigned, and requires graduation from an APTA-accredited PTA program, a current Alabama license, and BCLS certification within the orientation period.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of APTA accredited educational program for Physical Therapists Assistants required.
• Must have current Alabama license.
• Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period.
• Prefer member of APTA.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

Education: Graduate of APTA accredited educational program for Physical Therapists Assistants required. Must have current Alabama license. Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period. Prefer member of APTA.

Experience: None required

Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
