Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System in Huntsville, AL seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform PT procedures under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. You will assist with patient activities and supervise technicians, volunteers and students as assigned within a busy hospital setting.

Requires graduation from an APTA-accredited PTA program and current Alabama license, with BCLS certification within orientation period.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

Education: Graduate of APTA accredited educational program for Physical Therapists Assistants required. Must have current Alabama license. Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period. Prefer member of APTA.

Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
