Job summary

Huntsville Hospital seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform physical therapy procedures under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist. You will assist with patient activities and help ensure quality care in collaboration with the RPT.

You will supervise technicians, volunteers and students as assigned, contributing to a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team dedicated to patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of APTA-accredited program for Physical Therapist Assistants required.
• Current Alabama license is required.
• BCLS certification within orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy procedures under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Assists the RPT in patient activities.
• Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.
