Job summary

Inova Physical Therapy Center-South Riding is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to join its dynamic team. This full-time role includes day shifts, Monday–Friday with two evening shifts per week until 7:00pm, located in Chantilly, VA.

The successful candidate will support patient care under supervision, document sessions, communicate with patients and care teams, and follow facility protocols while advancing rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
• Experience: Graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program or new graduate.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required on start.
• Licensed: VA License Physical Therapy Assistant required on start.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to department policies regarding documentation and forms.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and medical staff.
• Completes administrative and other responsibilities for the unit.
• Demonstrates skill with treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs reassessments per state guidelines and updates treatment plans.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
