Job summary

Inova Health's Inova Physical Therapy – Ashburn is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) for a full-time, day shift position. This role commonly runs Monday–Friday with two evening shifts per week until 7pm.

You will collaborate with the care team to support rehabilitation plans and ensure accurate documentation for patient progress. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree, VA license, and BLS certification; new grads may qualify.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients and care team.
• Ability to document rehabilitation and progress clearly.
• Capable of following treatment protocols and state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to department policies regarding rehabilitation documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, and other team members.
• Complete administrative tasks supporting the operating unit.
• Demonstrate skill in treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Perform reassessments per state and facility guidelines and adjust plans accordingly.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
