Inova Health System is looking for a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to join their team in Chantilly, Virginia. This part-time role requires 20 hours a week with day shifts, Monday through Friday and two evening shifts per week until 7:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in a licensed physical therapy assistant program and a valid VA license.

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 Job Responsibilities:

• The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 adheres to department policies regarding time frame, appropriate form, and content of written rehabilitation documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
• Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
• Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines, while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
