Inova Physical Therapy Center-South Riding is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to join the outpatient team in Chantilly, VA. This full-time position offers a day shift with two evening shifts per week until 7:00pm, and work location at 24801 Pinebrook Rd Ste 120, Chantilly, VA 20152.

Inova is a leading healthcare provider known for safety, quality and patient experience. The role requires an Associate degree from an accredited PTA program, VA licensure, and BLS certification.

Competenze

• Education: Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
• Experience: Graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program, new graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
• Licensed: VA License Physical Therapy Assistant required upon start

• The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 adheres to department policies regarding time frame, appropriate form, and content of written rehabilitation documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
• Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
• Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines, while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
