Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to join the Inova Physical Therapy Center-South Riding. This full-time, day-shift role includes two weeknight shifts until 7:00pm and is located at 24801 Pinebrook Rd Ste 120, Chantilly, VA 20152.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
• Experience: Graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program, new graduate welcomed.
• Certification: BLS from American Heart Association required at start.
• Licensed: VA License Physical Therapy Assistant required at start.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to department policies regarding rehabilitation documentation.
• Communicates effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team and external contacts.
• Completes administrative responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
• Demonstrates skill in treatment modalities, equipment and protocols.
• Performs reassessments per state and facility guidelines and adjusts treatment plans.
