Job summary

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Weekend Warrior LPN to join our 513-bed facility. You will deliver compassionate nursing care to residents, administer medications, and support the care team on weekends.

This role offers competitive hourly wages from $27 to $44, a $4,000 sign-on bonus, a $1,500 referral bonus, paid time off, health insurance contributions, 401K, and free Uber transportation to and from the facility on weekends; in-house childcare

Qualifications

• Valid LPN Practical Nurse License.
• CPR Certification required.
• New Graduates welcome; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Serve as charge nurse, overseeing CNAs and monitoring quality of care.
• Participate in the care planning process and monitor plans of care.
• Report to the nurse manager, nursing supervisor, or ADON as needed.
• Provide caring and skilled nursing care to residents.

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a 513-bed skilled nursing facility atop Onondaga Hill in Syracuse, NY, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Warrior LPN to join our team. As a Weekend Warrior LPN, you will provide exceptional care to our residents while working weekends. Our professional team of caregivers focuses on each resident as a whole person, encompassing their physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
• Serve as charge nurse, overseeing the care provided by CNAs and monitoring quality of care
• Participate in the care planning process and monitor the effectiveness of patient/resident plans of care
• Report to the nurse manager, nursing supervisor, or ADON as needed
• Provide caring and skilled nursing care to residents

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Valid LPN Practical Nurse License
• CPR Certification
