Weekend Warrior LPN

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a 513-bed skilled nursing facility atop Onondaga Hill in Syracuse, NY, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Warrior LPN to join our team. As a Weekend Warrior LPN, you will provide exceptional care to our residents while working weekends. We offer a perfect setting to enjoy life, with lovely walking paths, decks, and ample green spaces. Our professional team of caregivers focuses on each resident as a whole person, encompassing their physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
• Serve as charge nurse, overseeing the care provided by CNAs and monitoring quality of care
• Participate in the care planning process and monitor the effectiveness of patient/resident plans of care
• Report to the nurse manager, nursing supervisor, or ADON as needed
• Provide caring and skilled nursing care to residents

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Valid LPN Practical Nurse License
• CPR Certification
• New Graduates are welcome to apply; no experience necessary
