Job summary

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse, NY is seeking a dedicated Weekend Warrior LPN to provide exceptional care to our residents on weekends. You will join a compassionate team dedicated to addressing residents’ physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs in a stable, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include administering medications, serving as charge nurse, participating in care planning, and reporting to the nurse manager.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN Practical Nurse License.
• CPR Certification.
• New Graduates are welcome to apply; no experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Serve as charge nurse, overseeing the care provided by CNAs and monitoring quality of care.
• Participate in the care planning process and monitor the effectiveness of patient/resident plans of care.
• Report to the nurse manager, nursing supervisor, or ADON as needed.
• Provide caring and skilled nursing care to residents.
