Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Denton, TX. You will provide prescribed care, assist with assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the PACT team to develop patient care plans.

The role requires an accredited LPN/LVN diploma, at least one year in primary or ambulatory care, and valid licensure with BLS/ACLS as applicable. Valor offers a competitive salary, benefits, and a weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted nursing license in TX or applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS as required by VA/contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care, physical examinations and tests.
• Administer medications as ordered and document in EMR.
• Perform nursing assessments and vital signs during visits.
• Operate EKG and other diagnostic equipment for routine tests.
• Maintain clean patient rooms and handle specimens as directed.
• Provide patient and family education on self-management and prevention.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with VA and clinic training requirements.
