Valor Healthcare in Dickinson, ND is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Community Based Outpatient Clinic. You will provide prescribed medical treatment and patient care under the guidance of physicians and the PACT team.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, operate EKG and other equipment, educate patients, and maintain accurate EMR records. This is a per-diem, on-site role with focus on veteran care and collaboration with VA resources.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or certificate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Minimum one year experience as an LPN/LVN in primary care or ambulatory settings; VA experience preferred.
• Active, unrestricted nursing license in the state of employment; compliance with VA requirements.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS as required by contract; strong English communication.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems.

Aufgaben

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care per physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments, patient interviews, vitals, and preventive services.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions; document in EMR.
• Operate EKG and other diagnostic equipment; collect lab specimens as needed.
• Maintain clean treatment rooms and submit lab/radiology results to providers.
• Educate patients and families on self-management and available community resources.
• Support front desk activities and collaborative care with VA and non-VA providers.
• Ensure confidentiality and comply with all VA and Valor training requirements.
