Zusammenfassung

Valor Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our VA-focused clinic team. You will provide prescribed medical treatment and patient care under physician direction, collaborating with the PACT team and VA/community partners.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, medication administration, and specimen collection, while maintaining patient education and confidentiality. A supportive, veteran-focused environment awaits the right candidate.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or certificate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Minimum one-year experience as an LPN/LVN in a primary or ambulatory care setting; government healthcare environment preferred.
• Must be credentialed and in good standing with VA.
• Valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state of employment (or as contract requires).
• Current BLS certification and ACLS as required by VA contract.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; strong computer/EMR skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist with patient care, physical exams and routine nursing assessments.
• Administer medications as ordered and document in EMR.
• Operate diagnostic equipment (EKG, glucometers, etc.) and collect lab specimens.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clean, equipped spaces.
• Record patient information in VISTA/CPRS and support enrollment/retention efforts.
• Provide patient and family education and coordinate with VA/community resources.
