Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join the Urgent Care Center in Dartmouth, MA. You will provide direct patient care, perform phlebotomy, EKG, IV access, and medication administration, while supporting clinic operations.

Requirements include an MA LPN license, BLS/ACLS, EHR experience, and 1 year in a related setting. Schedule is 40 hours with day/evening shifts and weekend rotation; a $5,000 new hire sign-on is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in medical office, urgent care, or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is highly desirable.
• LPN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• BLS and ACLS certification are required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt with a signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including phlebotomy, EKG, IV access, IV fluid and medication administration.
• Conduct patient interviews and assist with registration, data entry, and medical records coordination.
• Perform point-of-care lab testing in accordance with CLIA requirements.

We are searching for a talented LPN - Urgent Care Center

• $5,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day/Evening shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 8:30pm, Saturday/Sunday 9:00am - 5:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Urgent Care - Dartmouth, MA. Urgent Care team members are expected to rotate across Urgent Care sites as needed. Locations include: Lakeville, Fall River, Seekonk, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Taunton and Wareham.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of Urgent Care Provider, perform direct patient care including, phlebotomy, EKG, IV access, IV fluid and medication administration in accordance with physicians' orders. Provides work to full scope of practice as determined by the public health department and Southcoast Health policies. Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support including but not limited to patient quick registration, data/order entry, minor transcription of orders, coordination of medical records, transport and other clerical duties as assigned. Performs point of care lab testing in accordance with CLIA certificate.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience within medical office, urgent care center, or skilled nursing facility, experience is preferred.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
• LPN License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required
• BLS and ACLS certification are required
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $31.98 - USD $48.31 /Hr.
