Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license to practice in this state.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; read technical procedures; read and comprehend policy manuals.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and nursing service standards.
• Maintain and update Nursing Service Procedures Manual and related documentation.
• Coordinate with Nurse Supervisor and physicians on care plans and treatments.
• Supervise staff, review staffing and assign duties, and participate in performance evaluations.
• Ensure shifts are adequately covered and residents receive required care and services.
