Job summary

Cardiovascular Institute of the South is seeking a nurse leader to guide the nursing team in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate staffing, and partner with physicians to drive excellent patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, documentation accuracy, and staff mentoring, with opportunities for professional development and involvement in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Louisiana LPN license.
• Strong clinical skills in a fast-paced cardiovascular or specialty clinic.
• Leadership experience supervising or mentoring team members.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the nursing team in delivering high-quality cardiovascular patient care.
• Oversee daily nursing operations, staffing coordination, workflow efficiency, and patient care processes.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and leadership to ensure patient outcomes and operational success.
