Qualifications

• Experienced in triage, blood draws, injections, and assisting in diagnostic testing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed professional nursing care to support cardiovascular physicians.
• Perform triage, documentation, injections, diagnostic support, and coordination of care.
• Respond to patient needs both in clinic and by phone.
• Document vital signs, medications, allergies, and patient concerns.
• Assist with Coumadin clinics, blood draws, and diagnostic procedure explanations.

About the Role

• Provide licensed professional nursing care to support cardiovascular physicians and other medical staff.
• Perform triage, documentation, injections, diagnostic support, and coordination of care.
• Maintain and update patient records in paper and/or electronic medical systems.
• Respond to patient needs both in‑clinic and by phone, assisting with procedures and patient education.

• Support physicians during patient visits and follow through on orders including tests, injections, and patient instructions.
• Collaborate with departments through EMR communications to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist with Coumadin clinics, blood draws, pacemaker/defibrillator checks, and diagnostic procedure explanations.
• Manage medical forms, insurance pre‑certifications, supply ordering, and mandated safety checks.
• Provide cross‑coverage and support to other clinics or departments as needed.
