Job summary

Cardiovascular Institute of the South is seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee cardiovascular patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will guide the nursing team, coordinate staffing, and ensure clinical standards and documentation quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Louisiana LPN license.
• Strong clinical leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork.
• Commitment to accurate documentation and patient advocacy.
• Experience with EMR systems and HIPAA compliance.
• CPR/BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

About the Role:

• Lead and support the nursing team in delivering high-quality cardiovascular patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Oversee daily nursing operations, staffing coordination, workflow efficiency, and patient care processes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, clinical staff, and leadership to ensure excellent patient outcomes and operational success.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, documentation requirements, HIPAA regulations, and quality initiatives.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff while promoting professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
