The role includes supervising CNAs, administering medications, maintaining chart records, and coordinating care plans. Strong communication and adherence to policy are essential.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to supervise CNAs and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in a resident-centered environment.
• Supervise CNAs and staff to ensure tasks are completed.
• Assign CNAs to residents and coordinate care.
• Administer injections and medications per scope of practice.
• Maintain narcotics inventory and document usage.
• Chart patient progress and update care plans.
• Attend physician rounds and report changes.
• Follow infection control practices.
• Ensure patient privacy and dignity.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist with admissions and transfers.
