Penn State Health – Hershey Medical Center is seeking an LPN II for the Surgical Labor and Delivery Unit. This full-time role provides direct and individualized nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or provider.

You will document care in the electronic medical record, educate patients and families according to teaching plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care. A current LPN license and 1 year of experience, plus BLS, are required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of employment or multi-state license via compact.
• 1 year of LPN experience.
• BLS certification required before orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care under the guidance of a RN or provider.
• Observe, report and record clinical information in the EMR.
• Instruct patients and families according to teaching plans.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
