Job summary

Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts. This outpatient clinic handles a high-volume patient flow, with up to 300 daily visits, requiring strong teamwork and clinical skills.

The LPN will deliver direct nursing care, document in the EMR, administer medications, and educate patients and families under a RN/physician’s guidance.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in PA or multi-state license via compact.
• BLS certification required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the direction of a RN/physician.
• Assesses, documents, and communicates patient status in the EMR.
• Administers medications per policy and procedures.
• Instructs patients and families according to teaching plans.
• Collaborates with health care team to coordinate patient care.
