Job summary

Penn State Health’s Windmere Centre in State College is seeking an LPN to provide direct and individualized nursing care under supervision, with shift daytime hours. Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice in the state of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care under the direction of a RN/physician.
• Observe, report and record patient medical information and nursing care in EMR.
• Instruct patients and families according to teaching plans.
• Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team and manage messages and forms as needed.
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
