Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Waldwick, NJ is seeking an LPN Supervisor to oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHAs, resident care aides and medication technicians in the Wellness/Resident Services Center. You will supervise the shift in the absence of the Director and support residents with ADLs and medication administration.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to MARs and doctors' orders, prioritization, multitasking, and independent work.

Qualifications

• Must have staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment.
• Active LPN certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience with residents with dementia/alzheimer's is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and work independently.
• Education: Technical/other training or better in Nursing; Associates or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, mentor and supervise nursing staff, HHAs, resident care aides and medication technicians.
• Serve as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director of Wellness.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and medication administration.
• Ensure MARs and doctors' orders are followed and compliance is maintained.
