Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in North Woodmere, NY is seeking a compassionate LPN Supervisor to oversee, mentor and nurture a team of nurses, HHAs, resident care aides and medication technicians in the Wellness/Resident Services Center. You will serve as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, providing attentive help to residents with daily living activities and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Must have staff supervisory and medication oversight experience.
• Active LPN certification required.
• Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
• Caring, reliable and observant with an understanding of MARs and doctors' orders.
• Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, mentor and nurture a team of nurses, HHAs, resident care aides and medication technicians in the Wellness/Resident Services Center.
• Act as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director.
• Provide caring and attentive help to residents in managing activities of daily living (ADLs) and in administering medications.
• Lead the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness.
