Job summary

Beaumont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Anderson, IN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants, in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will direct daily nursing operations, admit and discharge residents as required, administer medications, complete charting, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must have a current unencumbered LPN license in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Meet with nursing staff to plan shift services and activities.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel on the unit/shift.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Perform routine charting and maintain records.
