Job summary

Beaumont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Anderson, Indiana, is seeking a Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop and direct the Nursing Department, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with all regulations. You will supervise staffing, policy development, QA activities, MDS coordination, discharge planning and safety programs, working closely with Administration and Medical Director.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience in a hospital or nursing facility.
Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
Current CPR certification required.
Must read, write, and understand English.
Ability to lead and work in a team environment.
Knowledge of nursing practices and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and evaluate the nursing service department and its programs.
Develop policies and report to the Administrator and Medical Director.
Coordinate nursing services with other resident programs to ensure continuity of care.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and assignments for RNs and CNAs.
Participate in quality assurance, surveys, and action plans to improve care.
Assist with MDS planning, RAPs, and discharge planning as needed.
Maintain resident confidentiality and safety procedures.
