Job summary

Beaumont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct resident care and supervise nursing assistants on the unit. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with other departments to maintain high-quality resident outcomes.

Strong LTC experience and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and laws/regulations for care facilities.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants on the unit/shift.
• Complete admission, transfer, and discharge documentation.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure care continuity.
• Receive/give nursing reports and perform charting per policies.
• Provide IV care and related nursing procedures as needed.
