Job summary

Reunion Plaza Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Texarkana, TX is seeking a Staffing Coordinator (LPN) to serve as the primary contact for all staffing functions at the facility. You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team that delivers superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness and supportive services for residents.

The role requires active LPN licensure and prior experience in a nursing home setting.

Qualifications

• Current, valid licensure as an LPN is required.
• Previous nursing home or geriatric care experience preferred.
• Experience scheduling with KRONOS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Staffing for all nursing personnel (RN, LPN, CMA, CNAs).
• Process applications for all positions.
• Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified applicants/candidates.
• Complete new hire reference checks, license/certifications verifications.
• Review staffing routinely and adjust based on census.
• Conduct clinical portion of the new hire orientation.
• Conduct drug testing of all new hires.
• Maintain attendance records, excused/unexcused absences.
• Set up, track and log attendance for all State mandated In-services and In-services as required by Administrator and DON.
• Annual Proficiency Testing for Certified Nurse Aides.
• May participate in assessment and evaluation of nursing staff.
• Maintain copies and track nurse and nurse aide licenses.
• Track, audit and administer TB tests, Flu Shots, etc. for Residents and Employees.
