Job summary

Reunion Plaza Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Texarkana, TX, seeks Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) or LPNs for 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am shifts. You will join a facility focused on long-term care and rehabilitation, delivering compassionate nursing services and ensuring high-quality resident care.

As an LVN/LPN, you will participate in direct patient care, administer medications, and help coordinate care plans under regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN/LPN license.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Management/supervisory experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices.
• Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies/secures equipment supplies
• Directs/oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes/coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversees/monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
• Monitor’s infection control compliance.
• Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.
