Job summary

Reunion Plaza Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Texarkana, TX is seeking a Staffing Coordinator (LPN) to serve as the primary contact for all staffing functions. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services to residents.

The role requires a current LPN license and scheduling experience; KRONOS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LPN license required.
• Experience in nursing home or geriatric care preferred.
• Scheduling experience required; KRONOS experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Staffing for all nursing personnel (RN, LPN, CMA, CNAs).
• Process applications for all positions.
• Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified applicants/candidates.
• Complete new hire reference checks, license/certification verifications.
• Review staffing regularly and adjust based on census.
• Conduct clinical portion of the new hire orientation.
• Conduct drug testing of all new hires.
• Maintain attendance records, excused/unexcused absences.
• Set up, track and log attendance for State mandated In-services and In-services as required by Administrator and DON.
• Annual Proficiency Testing for CNAs.
• May participate in assessment and evaluation of nursing staff.
• Maintain copies and track licenses for nurses and nurse aides.
• Track, audit and administer TB tests, Flu shots, etc. for Residents and Employees.
