Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to perform a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. You will deliver direct patient care, implement clinical procedures, reinforce education, and document care in the medical record within a diverse patient population.

Ideal candidates are graduates of a State board School of Practical Nursing with Alabama licensure or multi-state licensure, and may be experienced or new graduates.

• Experienced/New Graduate
• BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. The individual provides direct patient care for diverse patient populations that vary in gender, age, socioeconomic status, education, physical and mental abilities, locations, sexual lifestyle, and racial and ethnic background. The LPN implements technical nursing procedures according to established policies and procedures and plan of care, assists and reinforces routine patient education, and documents patient care appropriately. The LPN communicates and interacts with other team members to facilitate teamwork and delivery of quality care.

Graduate of State board School of Practical Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
