Huntsville Hospital Health System is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under supervision. The role requires current Alabama or multi-state LPN licensure and BLS certification, with opportunities to support diverse patient populations.
The LPN will document care, reinforce patient education, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care across units within the Huntsville Hospital system.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. The individual provides direct patient care for diverse patient populations that vary in gender, age, socioeconomic status, education, physical and mental abilities, locations, sexual lifestyle, and racial and ethnic background. The LPN implements technical nursing procedures according to established policies and procedures and plan of care, assists and reinforces routine patient education, and documents patient care appropriately. The LPN communicates and interacts with other team members to facilitate teamwork and delivery of quality care.
